Personal Development

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

Theodore Roosevelt

What is Personal Development Coaching?

At its core essence, coaching is a trusted and confidential partnership in a successful outcome. Admittedly, personal development coaching paints with a broad brush. It gets specific in that it is client-centric and very much about where you have been, where you are, and where you are going.

All that matters is that we accept and live in the present moment

Eckhardt Tolle

What are you here to do?

So simple and so important. And it’s ok if you don’t know, and I can help you with that. For some, the answer comes out before I finish asking the question and yet for others, it can be inconclusive after hours of discussion.

Are you coachable?

I believe the very same can be said for the information we consume, books we read, and podcasts we tune into.  It is battle for your ears and eyeballs out there. and as you take in all of the information from the day, it is important that you consider keeping a journal as a form of self-expression, taking notes, capturing ideas, making lists, reviewing goals. The single most valuable asset you have is your attention. Spending time journaling is like having your own distillery of thought. There is a battle raging for your attention at all times. Remember that you are a creator. Your destiny awaits.

Impact on Coaching Success

The Power of Why

In his book Start with Why, Simon Sinek makes the case that once your Why is strong enough, the how, what, when and where will fall in line to accomplish your desired end result. This is why your "calling", once fully aligned with a mission-driven sense of purpose is so critical to your success.

Motivation and Engagement

Clients who understand their calling are often more motivated and engaged in the coaching process. They're likely to take proactive steps towards their goals, leading to more significant progress.

Increased Resilience

A strong connection to one's vocation fosters resilience, as clients draw upon their sense of purpose during times of challenge. This resilience is crucial for navigating setbacks adn staying on track.
