About Me
Jim became an entrepreneur in March of 1992 and has never looked back. Coming out of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industry, Jim started Stanton Marketing Resources as sole proprietor and incorporated as an Arizona Corporation in 1999. He signed on with HelmsBriscoe Performance Group
(HB) as an independent licensee’ consulting and serving the needs of event planning teams for corporations and associations worldwide.
After 10 years at the corporate headquarters office in Scottsdale, AZ, Jim now home offices out of Atlanta, GA. Jim was inducted into HelmsBriscoe’s distinguished Hall of Fame in 2009 for invaluable contributions to the company made since joining HB in its formative years. Over the course of 30+ years, HB has grown to become the global leader in planner advocacy and site selection with 1500 associates in over 60 countries.
After decades of entrepreneurship, the mission remains clear: Supporting clients to become the very best
they can be in rising to meet today’s challenges amid growing expectations and limited resources. Best available venues, best pricing and terms while optimizing best use to time and resources to maximize efficiency.
